The Yamaha F 310 offers outstanding quality at a truly budget price. The lively sound from the spruce/meranti body has a bright, sweet resonance not unlike Yamahas renowned FGs, and real rosewood is used for the fingerboard and bridge. The handling comfort of the slightly reduced body depth and intermediate scale length will be particularly appreciated by younger players. Construction and woods The extensive dreadnought body is equipped with a laminated spruce top and consists of locally cut tonewoods on the back and sides. With the help of a clever bracing, each frequency receives a very pleasant warmth, making the F 310 particularly suitable for vocal accompaniment. At the same time, the flat neck made of locally sourced tonewood is extremely beginner-friendly. The rosewood fingerboard measures 42.9 mm at the nut and has 20 frets. Hardware and design The instrument is equipped with high-quality hardware made of urea to ensure that every note is intonated cleanly over the entire scale length of 634 mm. At the same time, chrome-plated tuners guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. To give the Yamaha F 310 acoustic guitar a traditional appearance, the body is equipped with a simple black binding that borders the individual parts of the body.
