Here at Sweetwater, we know that buildups and transitions are the core of a great DJ performance. The Merge FX function on the DDJ-FLX6 gives you a ton of creative potential to set the dance floor on fire. It’s basically a 1-knob buildup solution — press the knob to engage the effect, turn it fast or slow as you see fit, then release the effect and switch to the next song by pressing the knob again. Merge FX offers eight patterns when using rekordbox, and four when using Serato DJ Pro. And with 41 types of effects to choose from across four categories, you can combine them to create more than 9,000 different patterns — perfect for adding your own signature sound to your mixes.
Full-size jog wheels from the CDJ-3000
The DDJ-FLX6 is equipped with the same full-size jog wheels found on their flagship CDJ-3000 media player, offering a smooth and natural feel while pitch bending and scratching. Each jog wheel features an On Jog Display so you can always keep an eye on your playback position.
Dual playback decks, dual sample decks
The DDJ-FLX6 offers plenty of creative potential with its 4-deck configuration. Two decks play your tracks, while the other two decks support sample playback. Using the rekordbox Sample Scratch feature, you can load up samples and layer them over your mix. And when used along with Jog Cutter mode, you can take samples you’ve loaded into your sample decks and use them as the sonic basis for the Jog Cutter effect.
