NUX MINI Monterey Vibe
NUX Monterey Vibe, born to recreate the grand, yet complex, psychedelic rock guitar sound of the 1960's and 70's. It features all of the classic Uni-vibe style selections: Chorus, Rotary-Speaker, and Phaser pedal. We modernized the original 4 stage phaser circuit ( a pulsating bulb surrounded by 4 photo-resistors ) by replacing it with a powerful 32Bit floating DSP to process our custom algorithm. What was the outcome? A perfect mimic of the complex physical-phenomena of its original analog circuitry.
NUX Monterey Vibe generates a truly unique effect tone; a mix of chorus, tremolo, rotary, and phaser. This unique tone can be found in Pink Floyd’s ‘Breathe’, Robin Trower’s ‘Bridge of Sighs’, and the haunting audio mood created for ‘Machine Gun’ by Jimi Hendrix.
The earliest Uni-Vibe effect pedal came out in the 1960‘s. Cutting-edge guitarists were seeking a replacement for the heavy rotary speaker amplifier--configured from a standard amplifier for the electronic pipe organ. The original Leslie speakers did have a charm of their own, but it was more than compensated for by gaining the phaser effect, and the ease-of-use of a simple pedal configuration.
Just like the traditional Uni-Vibe pedal, you can switch between Chorus ( the Uni-vibe effect ) or Vibrato, by simply holding the foot-switch. In Chorus mode, the mix of Phaser and dry guitar signals produces a classic Rotary sound. In Vibrato mode, your pitch modulates between high and low. Both modes yield a rich, vintage vibe at any speed, intensity, or volume.

We even built in a compressor mold to help fine-tune your reverb dynamics. NUX is, once again, proud to re-define the mini pedal with Oceanic, a truly extraordinary reverb pedal. Oceanic can be switched in between true-bypass and buffer bypass.

Old-school Analog Chorus has always been warm but it was hungry for dynamic completion. NUX's modern-tech DSP yields a perfect combination of both worlds: analog and digital. To achieve all of the Rivulet Chorus objectives, our engineers had to develop an algorithm that mimics the principles of BBD chips - the key component of Analog Chorus effects. Rivulet's low-frequency activated provided the Traditional Analog Chorus Tone discerning ears have come to expect in a true analog chorus pedal. Dynamic Tone and Noise-Elimination ability put Rivulet into a completey separate category from cheap analog pedals. Quality-grade BBD chips in large mass have become incredibly rare, so this method is not practical for making an affordable analog chorus device. Using DSP technology, NUX is able to offer a mini-pedal with a contrasting array of chorus tones. We selected 3 essentials , each with a voice that can be upgraded with a quick, user-friendly Free Firmware Upgrades . 3 Essential Choices: MODERN CHORUS The Rivulet comes factory-loaded with NUX's tribute to the classic "Modern Chorus," the familiar Yellow Pedal with 5 knobs. Booster and Compressor Pedals are the gigging guitarist’s secret weapon.
Both pedals are now available in one convenient metal housing, and it comes with selectable signal routing. The Boost Section comes with Boost Level, Drive, and Hi-Cut controls. The Compressor Section comes with Komp Level, Sustain, Blend, and Clip controls. The Masamune has an external foot-switch jack Input, you can easily operate the pedal by using an additional remote switch.

It forges your dry-signal, enhancing your sound before sending your signal to your amp, and/or any effects unit. The Boosteradds beneficial color to your signal, and, if necessary, after you adjust the boost & drive levels, you can cut high frequencies on your Input signal with the Hi-Cut Toggle Switch.
Masamune’s Kompressor does a remarkable job managing and enhancing your signal: Komp Level knob adjusts the final Output level for the Compressor, perfectly balancing your Input and Output signals. Sustain knob adjusts the compression ratio, and increases sustain. Higher sustain levels will squash your signal harder when you hit the strings and creates a longer, richer sustain. Blend knob adjusts the compressor transparency from 50% to 100%, so you can dial-in the exact amount of compressed dry-signal blend you want.
Clip Toggle allows you to choose the clipping range of your Input signal. The Toggle-UP position will squeeze the signal for voluminous sound, and Toggle-DOWN will open up more space on your clipping range.
Inside Routing
NUX Masamune Booster & Kompressor has inside routing with 3 Functions:
- Use both effects in parallel connection.- Toggle-UP the MUTEX to engage only one effect at a time.
- Choose which effect you want to come first on your signal chain.

NUX Sculpture Compressor
NUX Sculpture Compressor pedal offers a consistent volume output level and sharpens the signals on top and bottom edges. When you start picking your guitar, it will clean the loud (peak) notes and increase the sustain by raising the level of decaying (quiet) notes. Sculpture also contributes to the signal foundation that’s fed into the rest of your effects chain.
It has 2 clip modes, simply you can switch between “Clean Mode” and “Clip Mode” by holding the switch for 1 second.
Clean Mode
The clean mode has a wide limit range from bottom to top so if your guitar slams the limits too hard (like humbucker pickups) it is very suitable to control the compression. You can also dial up a very soft and clean compressor for single coil system guitars in Clean mode.
Clip Mode (Clip Light is On)
If you want to squeeze your sound, Clip Mode will make it tight like a cowgirl's jeans and the compressor will wrap all over the signal. It is very suitable for the single coil guitars to compensate the weak output.
Blend Knob
When you adjust the knobs to catch a perfect balance between clipped frequencies and a good sustain, blend circuit allows you to adjust dry/wet compressor effect level on the processed signal. Whatever you dial-up on Sculpture Compressor, you can simply adjust the opacity of the effected sound.
True Bypass / Buffer Bypass
Sculpture Compressor has an embedded selectable buffer bypass.
You can change the bypass mode by turning on the power while holding the footswitch.
NUX NDS5 Fireman Dual Channel Distortion Pedal

The NUX NDS-5 Fireman is a two-channel distortion pedal for electric guitar in the tradition of the modern Brown Sound. Two independent channels offer separate settings for volume and gain and can be easily switched via the 1/2 footswitch to have the appropriate gain reserves ready at any time. Additionally, a global 2-band equalizer with tight and presence controls is on board for fine-tuning the sound. On the front of the Fireman is a 9V/18V switch that doubles the internal operating voltage when needed, creating additional headroom with extended dynamic range. Once an additional 2-button footswitch is connected, it takes over the functions of the two internal switches, optionally changing the channel or switching the pedal to True or Buffered Bypass.- Two-channel distortion pedal

1.This unit combines the functions of latch type and WTB-005 (momentary type) foot switches. Both of the unit’s foot switches may be set to function as either a latch or momentary type(Open, Close) switch.
