Les Paul Standard '50s Neck is a special model from the Les Paul segment. It is a regular Les Paul Standard in all aspects, except the neck contour. Despite recent advancement in neck construction and shaping, there are still players who prefer the vintage necks with bulkier contours. This Standard is for them. It comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Creme binding, elevated pickguard and glossy finish complete the body. Desert Sunburst is the only color scheme available for this model. Bridge section is a standard one, it features a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar. Alnico V active humbuckers are installed in the front. Neck is set in and made of mahogany. 22-fret fingerboard is made of ebony and it features figured acrylic trapezoid inlays.

Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom Gold Top with Case (Used)
The Les Paul Classic Custom is a take on the original Les Paul Custom designed. Like the "Tuxedo" Les Paul Custom of the '50s, the Classic Custom features multi-layer binding, block inlays, and the Les Paul Custom headstock logo. Due in part to wood sourcing problems faced by Gibson, this guitar uses a "Baked Maple" fingerboard for which Gibson processes Maple in a kiln to give it a darker color and properties closer to Rosewood or Ebony. There was actually an earlier guitar called the Les Paul Classic Custom that was like the Les Paul Classic (with two uncovered humbuckers) but used styling more in-line with the black Les Paul Custom.
Body Style: Single cutaway solidbody
Years of Production: 2011 - 2013
Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Maple top, Mahogany neck, Baked Maple fingerboard

Gibson Les Paul Studio 1996 Alpine White with Case (Used)
The Les Paul Studio launched in 1983 as an affordable no-frills take on the classic Les Paul design. Like other Les Pauls, the Studio uses two humbuckers and a combination of a carved Maple top on a Mahogany body (though some early models use alder). Unlike other Les Pauls, the Studio lacks any sort of binding on the fingerboard or body. Starting in 2005, Gibson produced a version of the Les Paul Studio with a more economical faded satin finish. The Les Paul Studio used an Ebony fingerboard up until 1994 when it switched to Rosewood.
Years of Production: 1983 - present
Wood Composition: Mahogany body, carved Maple top, Rosewood fingerboard
Design Elements: Two humbucker pickups, four control knobs, block inlays, gold hardware
Notable Les Paul Players: Slash, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson
