The RODE VideoMicro is a compact camera-mount microphone that improves the audio quality of the videos you shoot. The VideoMicro incorporates a high-quality condenser microphone capsule with a versatile cardioid pickup pattern that corresponds to what the camera sees, focusing on the audio in front of the camera while attenuating distracting off-axis sounds. Featuring a hard-wearing thermoplastic suspension structure, the Lyre shockmount is much more effective at minimizing cable-borne and handling vibrations than traditional elastic suspensions. The Rycote Lyre is virtually indestructible and will never sag, snap, wear out, or require rethreading to remain effective. The VideoMicro also includes the WS9 synthetic furry windshield. With its foam inner cell, the WS9 is designed for outdoor use to diminish wind and environmental noise that can ruin your recordings.
