Created by a world-class speaker designer
When Behringer decided they wanted to make an exceptional studio subwoofer, they contacted one of the most renowned speaker designers in the world – the founder of KRK, Keith R. Klawitter. Keith designed the unique glass fiber speaker cone, known for its outstanding bass punch and transient response. You can expect powerful, punchy lows and excellent transient response from the Behringer Nekkst K10S subwoofer.
Extended response from a smart cabinet design
You’ll notice exceptional bass response with the Nekkst K10S subwoofer, thanks to Keith R. Klawitter’s innovative cabinet design. The curvature of the baffle and the dimensions of the front port were designed for extended low frequency response with minimal distortion. You’ll be able to make better mix decisions, with cleaner-sounding mixes as a result.
Optimize the sound for your room
On the back of the Nekkst K10S subwoofer you’ll find a variable lowpass filter, and the crossover frequency is actually labelled for precise settings when used with Behringer’s Nekkst K5, K6, or K8 studio monitors. If you’re using a different set of studio monitors, just use your ears to find the right balance between your speakers and the Nekkst K10S subwoofer.
